SMU's standard billing procedure for cable TV and/or
Internet is to bill through the end of the month the bill was sent. Depending on when you started your service, your
first bill may be more than one month of charges. Be assured, after the first bill, your bills should be for just one
month, provided there were no other outstanding billing or payment issues.
Here is an example:
Jane Doe starts
her cable TV service on September 25. Her first bill that she receives in October will include the days she had service
in September (six days) and through October 31 (31 days).
Jane's bill the following month will be for just November (30 days).
